Playing Outside

The weather has been much cooler this past week and it has begun to get darker earlier. We usually eat dinner at about 5-5:30pm, but since we are losing daylight earlier, I have pushed dinner back to 6-6:30pm so the kids can play outside longer and eat dinner just before bath time. The kids love to play outside. We water our flowers and plants. Taelyn likes to push Trent around in his car. Taelyn LOVES to play with Sierrah, London (Londy) Drake (Drakey) and Braxdon (B) These kids get along so great and it is so nice to have kids that are the same age, able to play and get along with each other. Here are a few pictures I got while they played the other day:

Trent's 1st Birthday Party

Trent's 1st birthday party was this past weekend. I must say, I am very happy the way everything turned out. We were planning it for about a month, but I started preparing for the event the Thursday before. I started off with the cake pops. This is my little Mini-Me and Me in our matching aprons making the cake pops. My sweet sorority sister, Tekura, came over and showed me how to make them. We made about 80!

The day of the party, I was able to get so much done prior to the party, that the only thing I needed to do was decorate the cupcakes and the house.

I made a cake complied of cupcakes. I made a baseball glove and a baseball in the middle.

I think that, all in all, the party turned out amazing. Everyone left happy, full and sugared up! We all had fun, and I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate my sweet little man's 1st birthday.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Pumpkin Patch for a TMOMs outing. The weather was perfect. This was such a fun outing! We got to pick pumpkins, wander in a hay maze, learn about how Honey is made, feed and pet the animals and go on a hayride. Taelyn and Trent really enjoyed it.

I loved this outing! I missed it last year because I was having a baby... After, Lea, Jess and their kiddos came over for lunch. Such a great morning with great friends!
