Last Sunday I had a few of the ladies from my Fantasy Football League over for Sunday football. Were we a sight! I have never seen so many woman who have ZERO interest in football be so interested and actually have some idea of what is going on. I guess when you throw money into the mix, women will learn quickly. We were all watching the games, had our laptops on had watching what our teams were doing, updating our player's statuses on our phones and still having conversations with each other.
I am the reigning champion from last year and after my 1st win this week, I am in 6th place. It is so frustrating, but it was frustrating last year too, but being that I am 9 months pregnant, I am TRYING my best to stay calm and take my loses and keep it pushing, but I am a SORE LOSER!!!! All of the girls had a great time and it was a great day for football.
Hopefully I come out on top at the end of the season, but in the meantime, I LOVE MY DIVAS and I really enjoy spending football Sunday with them instead of being ignored by my Honey Do all day. I just might be a fan after all.

Close Call
Last night, I gave Taelyn a bath, and by bath, I mean shower.... I put her in the shower with me since we have a HUGE bath tub and there is no way I could climb in and out of it to bathe with her and there is no way my back could handle me leaning over to bathe her properly. Todd was watching football since it was Monday Night Football. Showering kills 2 birds with 1 stone. I have been on modified bed rest since my Wake Up Call. I am able to do lots, but I think I took the word "modified" too literally. I think, I may have possibly been over doing it.
After Taelyn and I were done in the shower, I dressed her read to her and put her to bed. I laid down in bed and started watching TV. I am VERY excited about my Fall shows starting this week. Not even 10 minutes into How I Met Your Mother, I felt a contraction. It was pretty intense. I felt a sharp pain in my back as well. That was new. I just did my heavy breathing and waited. I didn't have to wait long. 5 minutes later, I had another one. I quickly drank a 24 ounce bottle of water and laid on my left side and waited. The contractions were coming faster and faster. When they were about 2 minutes apart, we asked Eddie, my step dad to stay with Taelyn while we went to Labor and Delivery. When we got there, the contractions were right on top of each other. I just KNEW that this baby was coming. They set us up and we waited, they gave me some meds to stop the contractions and 3 hours later, we were sent home again.
I was a bit relieved that we were sent home because I just don't think that we are ready for little man. We STILL don't have a name and he doesn't even have a car seat. Being that Taelyn is so little, she is still in her infant car seat, so we bought a car seat cover that is blue for the baby, so we could use her car seat for him and put her in her big girl car seat. I really need to get on the ball because I am 35 weeks pregnant now, and Taelyn came at 36 weeks. I just can't get over the fact that with Taelyn we were ready for and this time, we may have the experience, but we are no where near ready. I need to make a check list and start checking. I am very disappointed in myself. I will be better. After this close call, I need to get ready for my little boy because he is coming whether I am ready or not. So here we go....

Football Sunday
Last year: Taelyn's 1st Football Season
The bib Says: "I watch the Chiefs With My Daddy"
In the DiMillo House during football season we are in our Chiefs gear! This is Taelyn's 2nd season and Todd seems to be the most excited. Last year he went to Kansas City to watch the Chiefs take on the Chargers in the 1st Monday Night Football game. They actually won and he takes all the credit for that. While he was out there, he bought Taelyn and me a bunch of Chiefs gear.
Todd bought Taelyn this Chiefs Cheerleading uniform in hopes she could wear it by this season and she can! When I woke up this morning, they were both up and fed and in the Chiefs gear!
This picture of Taelyn is just the cutest thing, I can't even handle it. (Not biased at all)
Sadly, the Chiefs lost today, but boy my family is gorgeous
Taelyn is getting to be such a big girl, seeing her at her picnic table just proves how big she is getting
Unfortunately, there are no pictures of me on our Family Football Sunday, I am 35 weeks pregnant and don't fit any of my Chiefs gear. No worries, by next year's football season, I will be dressed with my family, and I will not only have a cheerleader, but I will also have a little football player and the thought of that makes my heart smile.

My Baby Shower
9/10/11 What a great day to have a baby shower. As some of you may notice, I am crazy when it comes to certain dates. I picked this day because it seemed lucky to me to have numbers that are consecutive. I planned and planned so when the date finally came, I honestly didn't have much to do. When I woke up in the morning I made breakfast for my sweet girl and me. We played and when Todd woke up, I went to get a pedicure. When I got back, we dropped Taelyn off at my mom's so she could nap while we ran errands. If Taelyn doesn't get a nap, she is quite unpleasant, and I didn't want her to be fussy because there was going to be a whole lot of people who would want to engage with her and she needed to be ready for all of the attention.
Todd and I went to Costco to pick up the cake.
Then I went home and got ready while he picked up the rest of the food. I went to pick up Taelyn and then we met up at the Redlands Senior Center that was so beautifully decorated the day before by me, my mom, Eddie, Maila and Richard.
The football helmet, cupcakes and football shaped cake was made by my sweet sweet Sorority sister, Tekura
All we had to do was set up the food tables and wait for the guest. It was perfect. Once 2pm hit, people started flooding in. It was such a great turn out. I was so happy to see so many people who I haven't seen in so long. I even had my Auntie Ludy (mom's sister) visiting from Alabama!

Mom and Taelyn
Me and Lea
Sorority sisters
Taelyn stuck to Lea like glue
Me and my Sweet Tanka
Me and Alisia
We had Rosa Maria's Burritos, they have been my obsession my entire pregnancy
The games were super fun. I had a match the baby picture to the recent picture game and Match the mommy to the baby boy. We also hung clothes on a line and who ever did it the fastest was the winner. It was a super fun game. All of the games had great prizes so it was fun to see who won.
After the games we opened up the presents
We were completely showered with gifts and lots and lots of diapers and wipes! We couldn't have been happier. We had a lot of fun and I think everyone who was there had a great time too. Thank you to all who attended and helped make our shower a success and a time to remember. Everything is put away and ready for our baby boy, now all we have to do is come with a name and we will really be ready for his arrival.

Maternity Pictures
On Wednesday I met up with Jessica Hekman so she could take my maternity pictures. I got my hair done the day before and wore curlers to maintain a loose curl and Alisia came over just before Jessica got here and did my makeup to make beautiful. The last time I had this trio together was last January for LaQualia's Moulin Rouge 30th birthday party, the morning of the party, I had a photo shoot with Jessica to surprised Todd with boudior pictures for Valentine's day.I am 99.99% sure that that was the night that we conceived out little baby boy.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE PICTURES!!! Jess really outdid herself once again. Here are some of my favorites, there are a lot because I like just so many!
Thank you so much Jess, I am so, so happy with the way these turned out!
