There are so many things that my kids are doing right now that just melts my heart. I never want to forget them, so here are some things that I JUST LOVE:
~I LOVE Taelyn's full lips and its like she knows they are so beautiful because she is always puckering them.
~I LOVE that Taelyn is fearless! She will go to the top of the highest slide at the park and go down all by herself.
~I LOVE that she loves getting her hair done and if I don't put bows in her hair she asks for them. Then she looks in the mirror and says "PRETTY"
~I LOVE that Taelyn trusts me. If I tell her to jump from off the bed or off of something high, she flies at me with all her might and a huge smile on her face, knowing that Mama would never let her fall and that I will ALWAYS catch her. This will stand true for all of life. She jumped off of this rock wall into my arms.
~I LOVE that Taelyn is so attentive towards her brother. When he cries, she tries to give him his pacifier or rub his back. If that doesn't work, she says, "Mommy, Baby cry."
~I LOVE how Taelyn's hair looks after I take her piggies out. It is CRAZY!
~I LOVE that Taelyn gets excited when we go outside, she is no longer afraid of the grass, in fact, in this picture, she was attempting to roll down a small hill.
~I LOVE when I am standing, Taelyn wraps her arms around my legs and hugs me.
~I LOVE that when Taelyn wants something, she grabs my hand and leads me to whatever it is she wants.
~I LOVE that Taelyn loves to hold my hand.
~I LOVE that Taelyn LOVES to dance!!!!
~I LOVE that when Trent gets excited, he smiles and kicks his feet so fast and strong.
~I LOVE when Trent is almost asleep, he cracks one eye open, almost as if he is checking to make sure I am still there before he truly drifts off to dreamland.
~I LOVE when Trent smiles in his sleep.
~I LOVE when I'm holding Trent and he puts his little hand on my cheek and just holds my face.
**TMI Alert**
~I LOVE when I nurse Trent and he takes both arms and wraps then around my boob.
~I LOVE when he falls asleep while nursing and uses my boob as a pillow.
~I LOVE that they love each other!
Here is one last one about Todd
~I LOVE when he comes up from behind me and moves my hair and kisses the back of my neck. It gives me butterflies. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, I love it.

Stater Bro's Tour, Walks and a Lazy Saturday Morning
We went on a tour of Stater Bro's last week with my TMOM's group. It was really interesting. When we got there, they gave all of the kids little back packs and a cookie card good for a free cookie the next time we visit. We 1st went to the deli, they gave the kids some potato wedges to eat along the way. They showed them how the slicers and the ovens work. Next, was the bakery. They decorated a cake for us then gave the kids a cookie. That was really neat to see how easy and fast they can crank these cakes out. They took us to this huge refrigerator where they store the milk and other dairy products. It was cool being on the other side of where we get our milk from. We went to the loading dock to see where the shipments come in. They used a fork lift to move some really huge boxes. At the meat department, the kids got cute hats like all of the workers wear.
We were able to watch how they separate and package the meat. They showed us some strange meats like cow tongue and kidneys. Left me wondering, who actually purchases those things to cook?? In the produce area, they gave us all bananas and apples. The kids took turns watering produce. It was a long and thorough tour. The kids loved it. They were interactive, got treats and at the end, they got a balloon. It was really for for all involved!
After the tour, Taelyn, Trent and I went to visit my friend Amber, who is pregnant and on bed rest. Gosh, it seems like all the preggos I know right now are on bed rest poor things! I know first hand how they are feeling, so I try and make a point to visit them and keep them company. After our visit, we came home and went on a walk with our neighbor and her son. Braxdon turned 1 on Feb. 15th and this cool Radio Flyer was one of his sweet gifts.
I had to snap this cell phone pic to send to Todd while he was at work and we were all in bed having a lazy Saturday morning.
This was the picture he sent back to us while he was at work in his office

Valentine's Day
Let me start off by saying I am no longer irritated with most of the things I was irritated with in the last post. When Todd came home last night, he arrived with a NEW camera. I guess they couldn't fix the problem, so they gave us a completely new camera.... Why that took nearly 2 month's I'll never know.
On Valentine's day Todd had to work so we got up early and had a Valentine's breakfast with the kids at Arthur's, a family style restaurant that we love near our house. After breakfast, we exchanged cards and I was so happy to get a card, but inside the card, there was a $50 gift card to Spa Finder. I really should have been happy, but I was kinda perturbed because we agreed to no longer buy each other gifts, so I looked like an a-hole since I just gave him a card. Oh well, what are you gonna do? (Go get a massage!)
Todd left for work and I told a few friends that if they wanted to go out for Valentine's day that I could watch their kids while they went out. My friend Mel brought over her little boy for a few hours while her and her hubby had a lunch date. That was super easy, it was just one sweet little boy and it was during his nap time, so he slept nearly the entire time he was at my house. Our great friends/neighbors JJ and Kellina planned a night out and left their 3 kiddos with me over night. Boy did I have my hands FULL with my two kids and their three! They have a 10 year old, Sierrah, a 3 year old, London and a one year old, Drake. These kids are the sweetest kids and they are like my own anyway. We see them often,I've known them their entire lives, they are used to me, so no problem, right? WRONG! They were completely awesome until they realized they were spending the night. The 3 and 1 year old started to cry and continued to cry for nearly 2 hours.
Little Sierrah was my saving grace. She helped with her little sister and brother so much! We got through dinner and they were fine during bath time, then they cried all the way until they fell asleep. It was pretty rough, even for me and I can do everything! It wasn't anything I couldn't handle, it was just so heartbreaking to see how sad they were and how much they wanted their daddy and mommy. That is where Sierrah was amazing. She was such a great big sister and explained to them that mommy and daddy were coming back and to just go to sleep and when they wake up, they would see mommy and daddy. Todd got home just after everyone went to sleep. I was exhausted. The kids slept all the way until pick up time. I had to wake them up. All in all, Valentine's day was really full of kids and certainly love! JJ and Kellina gave me a gift certificate to Glen Ivy Hot Springs for watching their kids, it was totally unnecessary, but hey, I LOVE me a good massage!

Irritated!
I'm coming from a place of PURE IRRITATION! There are so many things going on in my life right now. I have so many things to blog about.
~~I am so irritated that I don't have the time to do it.
~~I'm irritated that it has been TWO MONTHS and I STILL don't have my camera back! I feel like I have 2 months of my life, my kids lives, undocumented. Poor Trent doesn't have any good pictures of him from these past 2 months, I have cell pics and his professional pics that Jess took, but there is nothing from our everyday and that just makes me want to CRY!
~~I am irritated with our washing machine. We have been having issues with our washing machine, I have to pray that it works before every use. I've called about it, but until it is fully broken, there is nothing they can do. LAME!
~~On February 12th, I had both of my kids Dedication Ceremonies at Church and I don't have any pictures from the church. I took 3 pics with my cell phone and of course, I'm not in them. That just makes me MAD!
~~I'm irritated that I want to blog about the dedication and what an amazing day full of love and family and friends it was, but I don't have any pictures of those amazing people who love my kids and support them.
~~I'm irritated that my dad's 58th birthday just passed and he is not here to celebrate it. It isn't fair the way things just happen and how they happen.
~~I'm irritated that this year makes 10 years since my dad's passing and it isn't getting any easier, it is only getting harder.
~~I'm irritated that I feel cheated and that I hurt more now than I did 10 years ago when it happened.
~~I'm irritated that he will never see his grandchildren.
~~I'm irritated that my husband won't go to church with me. I feel like the closer I get to God, the further I get from him and that scares me.
~~I'm irritated with one particular neighbor.

Lately.... (Long, Catch Up Post)
I have been completely neglecting my blog. Not because I want to or because I don't have the time, it is strictly because I really haven't had anything to talk about. Every day has become so routine and kinda boring. My day is broken up into two parts: Before and after naps. When I wake up, I get dressed and then I get Trent dressed. By then, Taelyn is awake. I get her dressed and we have breakfast. Taelyn's favorite thing to eat right now is oatmeal. She eats A LOT for breakfast. (Sometimes, this is her ONLY solid meal of the day). After breakfast, depending on the day, I either go to the park, run errands, visit friends, go to my mom's, Bible Study on Wednesday and TMOM's every other Friday, anything to keep myself busy.
Taelyn is trying to be helpful by feeding her baby brother
We go to the park, while Taelyn plays
I wear Trent and hang out with friends
I go to my mom's house and visit with them and have lunch and then go home for naps.
During their nap, I try to clean up the house and get things in order. I read the bible, I watch TV, I try to enjoy the hour or so of silence before I want to pull my hair out again. This particular day, I tackled the play room. This room seriously gives me anxiety. It is SOOO CLUTTERED, I can't stand it!
This is Taelyn's play room.... Before
After.... I cleaned, organized and disinfected every single toy she has. It took the entire nap time and then some.
Usually Taelyn wakes up first and we go downstairs and hang out for a while
Trent is beginning to be more sturdy and is sitting up most of the time
I normally prop him up, but from the looks of it, I won't need to soon
Taelyn is exploring and getting herself into trouble more often. Its trying, but when you see something like this, you can't help but to laugh.
She is more independent, but when she sees her brother in the swing, (although when she was his age, she hated the swing) she wants to be in the swing right next to him.
I made the yard sale signs to hang around the neighborhood
Trent was hanging out while I worked and his sister played
When it begins to cool down, I take the kids for a walk. I put Trent in the Baby Bjorn and Taelyn in her stroller and I walk around the block. This is my only form of exercise. I enjoy the walk and the kids get some fresh air and enjoy it too. By the time I get back from my walk, Taelyn plays outside on her Quad or on her bike. Then we come in, I put on some sort of show, usually Yo Gabba Gabba and I start dinner.
Dinner is the worst part of my day, I never know if Taelyn is going to eat and that stresses me out. I have come to the conclusion that if she doesn't eat what I give her in a certain amount of time, then it becomes breakfast. I have tried it for a week now and it seems to be working.
After dinner, it is bath time and then bed time.... this is my favorite time of the day. I love bath time, maybe because it is "CLEAN FUN" I love how my kids look when they are wet. Especially Taelyn. Her hair is just so curly and cute. Is that weird? Oh well, I love it. I read to Taelyn and then I put her to bed. Then I pick up the house and do anything I have left to be done.
I have discovered I am a gift bag and tissue hoarder. While looking for things to sell for a yard sale, I have decided to part with most of my bags
This past weekend, we had a block yard sale to make some space in our house and garage of things we no longer need. I made the joke, "Let our trash be your treasure" That is so true because somethings that we don't like or are tired of, so many people were more than happy to take it off of our hands.
Taelyn at the Yard Sale, it was COLD!
This was our set up
We got a rid of a lot of stuff and I am proud to say that I am able to park in my garage again! By the time the kids went to bed, Todd and I hung out on the couch and caught up on TiVo'ed shows. The perfect way to end the night! We were pooped.
This has been how I have ended every night for the past few weeks, I don't know why, but it relaxes me and makes me sleepy. I have just one glass and I am ready for bed
I am still waiting for my camera to be returned, so I have these ugly cell phone pictures. I really miss my camera! So that has been my life lately in a large nut shell.
